Just got back from E-town....................
We got a chance to spend a few days with our family in Enterprise. We had a great time, as usual. We took the four wheelers for a fun time at the wash, and whoops! The deer were really out and about. I couldn't get close enough for a picture, except this one through the trees.
My new Mini Cooper !!
He is a miniature dachsund.
He was a little attached to his two sisters, and his Mother, Maggie, but
we think he'll like his new home.
Last night was very similar to being up all night with a new baby.
Hope he grows out of that soon.
Viva Las Vegas....................
While we were at Joey's for a week, we drove down to Vegas for a couple of days. Of course you are wondering why, when it is 100 degrees here, would we want to go somewhere that is even hotter?? I was asking myself this question. It really wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. Mostly we stayed inside. We had to visit Bellagio ( my favorite) You've heard of Dale Chihuly, the astist that does these great glass sculptures.
One of his most famous is the ceiling of the lobby at the Bellagio.
He has also done some other things at Bellagio. Giant Poppies (myfavorite flower)
now adorn the Conservatory....

Other pieces by Chihuly can be found throughout the Bellagio.
Shopping the new Miracle Mile Mall at planet Hollywood ..........
Always the highlight of our Vegas visits is dinner at "The Steak House".....we haven't found a better steak anywhere! I never take my camera with me to dinner, but maybe next time I will remember. We met our old friend Dave Faragher there, and the girl he brought as his date is a cousin to the Wilkinson family that we all know and love. Her father is a cousin to Steve, and it was really fun talking about what we all had in common. Very cute girl !
We tried to stay in out of the heat as much as possible........saw a few movies, and shopped at the Outlets till we dropped. The food, of course was plentiful, and we had lots of fun!! Good Times !
