My life has gone to the dogs!!

She's a beauty!

They love to chase each other around.......Cooper's too fast to catch on camera!

They are pretty good at waiting their turn!

And...they both know how to beg!

One of their favorite pastimes........eat Roger's movie popcorn!

Good thing this Luv Sac holds two

Chey's baby blues........(she thinks the camera looks delicious)

Most of you know that I have a cute little 9 month old weenie dog named Cooper. Well................as much as Roger likes Weenie dogs, he has missed his best friend Kira since he had to put her down. He has always loved German Shepherds. He has had a few, and trained them well. So, when he learned of a young shepherd pup ( 8 months old ) that needed a good home, he could not pass up the opportunity to make her a member of our family. She looks more like our first Shepherd, Kelly than she does our last one, Kira. Her name is Cheyenne, and I knew the moment Roger saw her, he would end up keeping her. It really is ok. I love dogs too, but I was not sure how these two would get along. Luckily, from the minute Chey came home and met Coop, they became best friends. Now they can't stand not being in the same room together at all times. Roger spends alot more time around home nowadays. I'm sure when the weather gets better, he will want to try and figure out how to take Chey along on the Harley! The dogs have adopted the Luv Sac as their favorite place to sleep. Oh well............................we're having fun! Aren't we?!?!

I have been busy...........

It has been some time since I last posted. It's not that I haven't had anything happening, it's just that I've had alot happening. Rarely do I get more than a couple of minutes to sit down with my computer at home, and although I'm on one all day long at work, it is not a place I can blog, or socialize. My life has been mostly consumed with either planning something for, doing something with,or reporting on the Young Women in our ward. I sometimes wonder why the Lord has put me here at this time of my life, but without question, it has been worth every minute of the time I spend with these girls. I love them! They are wonderful people, and are all teaching me much more, I am sure, than I am teaching them. When you can see someone blossom and try new things because they have been inspired by those around them, or when you can look into a girl's eyes, and see that she finally realizes that she is a daughter of God, because the Spirit has borne witness of that to her during one of your lessons, it is all VERY worth it!! So, even though I have not been blogging..............I have been living!
