The Bunk House Bunkies!!

Rog and I on the front porch of the Bunk House.
Side yard view; patio and grill area leading off of the kitchen.
That's me! Climbing the steps leading up to the front porch of the bunk house.
Early morning, in their sacred grove.
Back view of Mt. Timpanogus, taken from the private cul-de-sac where the Ashton's have built their two cabins.

My Jackman Sisters; Darlene & Mary. And my Step Mom Cherrell, and I, in the Bunk House Kitchen. What a place!
I'd like to have this 12 foot bar in my kitchen. The attached dining area opens up onto a beautiful patio area, with a grill, picnic tables, swing sets, etc.
View of the family gathering room, looking up to the kitchen.

Weekend in Sundance ~

The best shots were outdoors! What a beautiful world, and especially at this time of year. The colors up Provo Canyon were amazing!! You can't even really see the true colors in these photos. It was such a great time we had! My cousin Karen Ashton and her family own a couple of homes in Sundance, and they let us use their bunkhouse (the smaller of the two) for the weekend. My Family; Dad & Cherrell, Dave & Mary, Dan & Darlene, and Roger & I, stayed and played for a few days. It was very peaceful and cozy!!

Vicki turns another year beautiful!!

Happy Birthday Vicki!!

Book reviews

"My Sister's Keeper" was our book club selection last month. I really enjoyed it. I really like this author's style. "Nineteen Minutes" was even better. I couldn't put it down. I have also read "Harvesting the Heart" by this same author. Great!
I finally finished this one! Just in time too, cause Jaxson has become interested in the series, and is now reading my books. This fourth book was so-so. Interesting though.
This month's book club assignment. I'm about half way through it. Light reading, and funny! Good Times!
I picked this one up, because it is by the guy that wrote "Wicked". So far so good, but I'm just getting started.
I'm excited to learn the real story behind the Tooth Fairy!

Just saw this one in my mailer.
Can't wait to get it.
I really like Glenn Beck, and his conversion story should be very interesting.

These are my two newest CD's, and I can't stop listening!!
LOVE THEM !!!!

Ryker and Ethney spent the night awhile ago, and I got a little camera happy. Ryker decided he wanted to take pictures of the important stuff, and so I gave him the camera for awhile.
Here are a few of his masterpieces.

36 Years, and then some............

How does the time slip by so quickly? The first time I met this skinny young boy, I thought there was more excitement wrapped up in him then I had seen in awhile! He was kind of a rebel, speeding around town in his little jeep, music blaring, and full of the dickens. He was also going out with one of my friends, so that's all he was to me. I remember like it was yesterday, hanging out in the halls of BHS, cruising around town in Lynette's car, mostly just to spy on Roger to see if he was stepping out on her!?!

That was before he came over to the dark side!
Once he was mine, he had to put up with my crazy family! I don't know why he stuck around after I got grounded just for going with him to the "Three Dog Night" concert!! It was worth it though. After that it was a battle, just to see each other. But we figured it out and now here we are, many years later.......still holding each other up. Hasn't always been easy, but it's been wonderful!! Thanks Rog, for not giving up on me, when most other guys would have wanted to get far away from that craziness. Our kids have alot to do with us making it this far too.............Thanks, all of you !!! We love you and are so grateful for you!! XOXOXOXOXOXOX

To celebrate our anniversary this year, we had dinner at our favorite Steak House. The filets melt in your mouth!

And then our friend, Dave Faragher took us to the Danny Gans show in Vegas. Front row seats! The show was so much fun! We had a great time!!

Here we go for 36 more, and then some!!
