On a Spiritual High !!
I have to share with everyone how this book I am reading is touching me so deeply! I ordered the book, because a very good friend of Vicki's, Suzanne Robbins, had written it about her son, Liam. Before she published it, she asked Vicki to read her rough draft, and share her feelings about it. So, Vicki had told me about it, and said that she thought I would enjoy it. Vicki had also shared with me, during Liam's short life, the sweet feelings of love they felt, whenever visiting or spending time with the Robbins Family. She had been touched by that special little boy and the relationship his parents had with him. That is why I was so anxious to get this book, as soon as it was published. I was so excited when my copies of the book finally came, and couldn't wait to read it. I started reading it this morning at about 9:00 am, and by the time I was on page 35, was finding myself deeply touched (and crying constantly), by each sentence that I read. Suzanne has written little love notes, throughout the book to her son, and I love this one, found on page 35 ~ a very profound thought - and said beautifully!
"There is always a way, always, to think ourselves,
step-by-step, into joy."
I so believe this to be true, as long as Christ is in those thoughts!

A New Look ~
I was bored with the darkness of our blogspot, and thought I would try and figure out how to change the template to one that I found on-line. It seems to have worked. Anyway - I stayed up very late last night trying to post some of my favorite pictures of the family, only to find that it is hard to choose which ones to post. There are so many that I love. I just randomly put some on, and thought I would just add new ones, as I get them. I'm getting use to this blogging, but have decided I would much rather read everyone else's then do mine. I don't think of the interesting things that others put on. We had a great dinner at Ruth Chris last night. It was a last fling before we start getting really serious about losing some weight. Roger and I went in for our annual lecture from the Doctor this week. We decided it was time to stop being lazy and putting off being smart about what we eat, and how active we are. We're trying to re-train ourselves on eating more healthy, and getting busy!! After a lifetime of the same bad habits, we are realizing that they are catching up with us, and we need to change things! Hopefully there will be more pictures of me on this blog before too long, because I can't stand to post any of me right now!!
